Senior Program (13yrs+)

About the program

Open Ballet classes based on the Russian Method. Students will learn to pick up exercises quickly as they would in any masterclass, workshop and audition. Students will continue learning advanced steps and artistry through their movement, including more upper body movement, mature port de bras and quick and precise footwork.

Classical ballet
Pre-pointe/Pointe work
Flexibility and Fitness
Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Acro
Performance troupe providing opportunity to perform in local and interstate competitions (no audition required)

Annual examinations

In term 4 students present an exam class to demonstrate in front of external and internal ballet assessors. The assessor will have experience in the dance field as a professional dancer/dance teacher. This exam will provide students with the most up to date feedback on their technique and artistry in each component of the class work. Only by continual correction do students learn quickly and aspire to higher levels of performance and achievement in the studio and on the stage.
